Mikayla’s Voice Inclusion Assemblies and books are all outstanding examples of the type of valuable dialogue that should be initiated in every classroom, and children’s capacity for understanding, acceptance and compassion.

The assembly and/or book(s) provide background knowledge regarding what it is like to have a disability and serve as a springboard for further discussion. Through these education-focused initiatives, Mikayla’s Voice is heard.
